Thank you for visiting our website and taking an interest in Eastford Baptist Church! As a church body, our purpose is to glorify God through the preaching of the Gospel of Jesus Christ found in the pages of His divine and holy Word, the Bible. The way in which we glorify God is by seeing Christ exalted in the lives of those whom, by His grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone have been changed by that Gospel, thus producing lifelong disciples of His who love and desire Him more than anything.
Therefore, our worship services and ministries are explicitly designed to elevate God’s Word so that God’s grace may flow into the lives of all who might listen and believe as a result. This grace is thus seen in the outflow of love, commitment, and devotion that this same grace, founded in the Gospel of Jesus, produces.
EBC is therefore a family of believers whose desire is that you come as you are, yet leave in a new and lasting way by the gracious hand of God stemming from what He has said in His Word concerning the salvation found in His Son Jesus Christ. Therefore, when you walk through the doors of EBC you will be met by friendly and loving people who love God and love you, a worship experience that will exalt Christ through vibrant singing, recitation of holy Scripture, prayer, and, most predominately, the preaching of God’s Word.
We therefore invite you to come and worship with us this Sunday! Bring your family for our Sunday School hour designed for all ages, beginning at 9:00AM. Stay for our coffee and fellowship time at 10:00AM, as well as our time of weekly corporate worship at 10:30AM. EBC also offers weekly Wednesday night activities at 7:00PM which include a prayer meeting and Bible study led by Pastor Howard, Olympians Children’s Clubs for elementary school-age kids, Teen Club for Jr. High and High Schoolers, Young Adult Bible Study, as well as a Ladies Bible Study.
